This last week was soooo long... but it was awesome all at the same time! We did so many exchanges and were gone for most of the week. We first were in Paris on Tuesday and Wednesday, Thursday, Friday we were in Troyes. We helped out the other missionaries a lot so hopefully we can start to see some pick up with the pace of the work here at Auxerre. Oh, and happy late Valentine's Day to everyone!
Mariama came to church! She misunderstood something the branch president said and once they got it all figured out she was fine! Thank goodness!
We are still working with our less active marc to quit smoking so far he is doing good and making alot of progress!!
So... We Got a CAR!!!! We were so hapy last night we drove it from Le Mans which is 3 hours away. It was a pretty cool drive through the French country side. On one half of the sky the stars were amazing then on the other half there was nothing from all the lights in Paris. But yeah, driving a stick is interesting. I've only stalled like a million times but it's all good. By the time I get it down I'll be leaving the ville.
This week I studied a lot about humility. And in the scriptures we read that if we are humble we will always have a remission of our sins. But how? After a lot of reading and pondering I realized it was simple. If we are not humble, we won't recongize our need to repent, thus we will not have a remission of sins. I love how simple the gospel really is! It's amazing I love it!
