Week #43 - March 10, 2014

Hey so this week was pretty cool. Had to say bye to Elder Wells and Auxerre. It was sad but I am so happy here in Caen! It's awesome. There are 6 missionaries in the ward. 4 elders and 2 sisters. I live with the other elders! It's pretty cool, one is from, Tahiti, Kentucky and Germany! No one from Utah!! haha

So my new companion is Elder Meissner. he is German but lives in Austria. He is pretty cool. He speaks fluent English so there isn't much awkward communication issues, which is good. I think we should get along pretty good.

So yeah, Wednesday  was transfer. so we went into Paris. I was waiting at the church there for some other misssionaries and then President shows up and 1st thing  he says is, " everyone look at Elder Sughroue, it's his 1st day as zone leader and he is not wearing a sweater... what are we going to do with him...." even though everyone else was just wearing short sleeves.... I got trolled... hahha

So Caen is an amazing city! We have already seen a whole bunch of sucess! Right now we are teaching this guy named Stephan. We found him while we were on the tram. He said he had met the misionaries once in Italy and wanted to know more!  We taught him and he knows all about Joseph Smith! So yeah, sadly he couldn't come to church but hopefully we shall be seeing him again this week.
So I am pretty excited for what this transfer will bring!
So yeah i hope you all have a good week!  love you!!
