Week #68 - September 8, 2014

Hey everyone so just to give you an update!

So this past week we just sat in the apartment again. I got a call from President Babin and he said pack your bags you're coming to the mission home. So Elder Tibbetts and I got everything packed and threw it in the car and started out Friday afternoon for the 5 hour drive to Paris. It was so long...    I dont know if it was the drugs I am on for the pain or what but it seemed so long. But I looked at the gps to see our route and I saw we were going to drive right by Auxerre!!!  So I called Mariama and we went over there with the Auxerre Elders for dinner! It was litterally so awesome to see her. She has the picture of her and I at her baptism on the wall by all her family photos! She was so happy to see me. She was almost crying. It was an awesome exprience.

So now I am chilling at the mission home for the next little while. I had a good talk with President. We talked about the possibility of me maybe having to come home. He explained "of course we want you to finish your mission but we want you to walk normal the rest of your life too!" which is common sense of course. He went on to say "but if you have to go home don't even feel bad. You have already been zone leader and have flipped around areas that wre suffering before and now they are doing great because of you. You have made huge changes in your life." I kinda sat on the couch and pondered that thought. I have given it my all everyday to the point of where my body is starting to fall apart. I have litterally flipped my life around and given it all to the Lord. I don't want to come home. But if it is the will of God that I go home then I know it is for a reason and it is part of the nesscary trials I must go through to be fit for his kingdom. So eithier way I'm not worried.

So yeah, also a big thank you to the ward back home for fasting for me! It all helps me get through this trial! Love you all!

Love,
Elder Sughroue
