Week #25 - November 4, 2013

This week was pretty busy.  On Tuesday we spent the day going around our area and saying bye to everyone from Versailles. Super sad because I really loved serving there. But anyways Wednesday was transfer day so we headed in to Paris to meet up with our new comps. Elder Tryon is pretty cool. He is a true Texas cowboy with a thick accent and loves to hunt and what not but we get along great with each other. The branch here is super small. A total of 6 people attend church on a regular basis. It is definitely different from serving  in Versailles but so far I love it. Our branch president is awesome and his wife is Chinese. They had has over for some really good food last night. They live out in the countryside. French countryside is so pretty. We played with the branch president's German Shepard for a little bit. Also his daughter was my teacher in the MTC! Small world!

The work here is super hard but I know we are going to be able to work miracles in Auxerre. We found a new investigator the other day while contacting down by the river. Her name is Catherine and she is Atheist but really wants to believe. We taught her about the restoration and she said she really felt something. We are going see her again this week so hopefully all goes well!

Hope you all have a good week!
