Oh this week was pretty awesome! I am loving my new comp, Elder
Wells. He is from Sandy, Utah and have a ton in common. I was good friends with
a lot of his good friends from home up at ByU-I. But yeah this week was
awesome!
While out contacting we contacted this lady who literally just came
from recieving a bad medical diagnoses. She started crying when we stopped her
and we felt impressed to just pray with her on the street. We did and she said
we were her "savior" for the day. I sure hope we are able to meet
with her again.
Then on Sunday night we came in for dinner and were soooo tired...
we both looked at each other and said, " let's go find some
one." We went out tracting to some huge apartment complexes. The 1st
door we knocked on was answered and we said that we were here to share a message
about Christmas and our Savior Jesus Christ. She let us right in and we prayed
and shared a scripture. She then said, " Do you have a Church here?"
We told her we do and the she started crying and said, " This morning I
knelt right here at this couch, and asked God to help me find a church to go
to, And then tonight he sent you to my door. God answered my prayers with you
and I know you are sent from Him."
I am so happy we were guided by the Holy Ghost to be an answer to
someone's prayers.
Yesterday was our Conférence de Zone de Noel. Such a awesome day.
President and Sister Poznanski gave an awesome lesson. We then had a gift
exchange and an awesome Christmas dinner with roast beef, potatoes and
gravy!!!! We also were given customized temple recommend covers!
