So this week was crazy...........
Tuesday was Mission Council so we were in Paris all day. We came
back just with enough time to eat dinner and go to bed.
We had exchanges with the Nogent Elders Wednesday, which was cool. Thursday
we went into Paris for district meeting. Sometimes I feel like I spend most of
my mission on trains. The zone leaders came back with us to do an exchange.
Elder Mataelee and I had some success, we got let in by some people and taught
a lesson. Solid night. We came back and asked how Elder Wells night went. They
spent it at the gare (train station) because the train " took our phone."
But I stayed calm, and yeah. So Friday we went into Paris to meet a senior
couple missionary who gave us a new phone (which didn't start working until
today??) and for some reason our tickets for the metro weren't good so we got
fined 50 euros....... So then we went to Troyes for an exchange. Super fun! Saturday
we spent the whole day on trains. We had to go from Troyes to Paris, switch
train stations, then Paris to Auxerre.
But Sunday was awesome! Mariam got baptized! Super cool baptism.
The whole branch showed up! All 6 hahaha
Yeah super happy for her! It was the 1st baptism in like 8 or more years
for the branch! Breaking ground! But yes a super good way to end a rough
week!
