Week #62 - July 21st, 2014

Hey everyone! This week was sooooo hootttttt. With the humidity it feels like a sauna but not one you want to be in because in this one you breath in everyones second hand smoke ha:)

Monday we had a RDV with Alexandre. He is still doing really good. We are going over the lessons again with him and it's awesome to see how much he understands and to hear his testimony of the gospel. When he prays you can really tell he is talking to God. Super sweet.

Tuesday we gave a zone training. We had to wake up super early to catch a train to Rouen. We ended up starting late because some elders missed their train  but it was all good. We talked about the importance of working with less actives and recent converts. It's an important aspect of the work that some missionaries have a hard time doing. We should all reach out to a recent convert or less active we know and fellowship them.

Wedensday we just worked all day 100% but no one stopped and listened.  It was tough but I went home satisfied because regardless of what the results were I knew I gave it all and did all the Lord asked me to do. That's probably the most important thing for missionaries to remember. We can't control the outcome but we can control how much we give. And we gotta give it all.

Thursday we went porting and some young family let us in. They seemed super intereste in our messages so we prayed with them and set up a return RDV. Then they texted us the next day and said they werent interested and not to come over.......   on to the next one..

But that night on the way back we ran in to the sister missionaries most recent convert who is kinda weird. She is anti technology and so doesn't have a cell phone and she didn't come to church the last Sunday and so the sisters have been worried. We taught her on the street and were able to help her out and set up a RDV with her and the sisters on Saturday.

SO that was the miracle of the week! God answered the sisters prayer by having us run into their recent convert! by chance ? I think not!

But yeah that sums up the events of this week! Love you all!

Have a good one
