1st of all we had zone conference this past week. We gave a formetion on how we should strenthen our testimony so that we will be better able to help others with theirs. One of our main points was strengthing our testimony by obedience. We based it of the scripture John 7:17 If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself. So obey the commandements and you will have a stronger testimony. It's as simple as that..
President Babin also shared something cool . In the statment by Christ come follow me. the "come" part is easy... but the follow me aka living the law of consecration is what we are being tauhgt to do as missionaries. As missionaries we are given the chance to live the celestial law of consecration right now and to learn it so we will be better prepared for after. Just a cool thought.
Exchanges: I did exchanges twice this week. 1st I was with Elder Amico whois from Switzerland. I learned one thing on this exchange.. I need to work on my French.
I also had exchanges with Elder Ovaitt in Cherbourg. While there I conducted a baptismal interview which was cool. The lady was super prepared. Afterwards we went to eat with one of their investagators from Tunesia. It's a small Muslim country. He made some super good salmon and some spicy veggies. Burnt the heck outta my mouth. We also met this old man on the street who invited us to his house. Turns out he is a super good artist and gave us one of his portoflios so now I got some super sick art. But he wasnt' too interested. We tried teaching him but he started going off on how he can leave his body while he sleeps and go into a limboo dimension...... sketchy old guy.
This week we should be seeing some better stuff happen. Keep your prayers coming and finger crossed!
