Hey everyone. so this week was slow again... we are really struggling right now to find new people to teach. But I know as we continue to work hard God will provide!
This week is going to be short because well not to much happened. To start off on Tuesday we had district meeting in which we talked about service and how we should always be looking for service opportunities. So this week we made the goal to find small acts of service opportunities. We found a lot but everyone turned us down.. ha people don't even want us to help them out.. oh well we know that we did our part in being willing to serve. Tuesday night we went over to a members house for waffles. It was pretty fun and he said he just invited us over so we could relax.. super nice guy.
Wednesday we went to le harve to do exchanges. After about 4 hours of travel time we finaly got there in time to eat dinner and go to bed. I was with Elder Bayer. He is a super cool missionary and was glad to see his desire to work! His companion is ending his mission in 2 weeks and is pretty dead. We were able to contact on Thursday and didn't teach anyone but we found an american who just moved there who is interested and she said she was gonna come to church so that was pretty cool! We got back to caen pretty late that night because of the trains.
Friday we had a rdv with an inactive member who just didn't show up... but then we called a member and asked if we could pass by and share a spiritual thought. We were in and out in 20 mins but on Sunday he bore his testimony about how he was having a harder day and then we came over and it really helped out his day and he knew God was watching over him.
Saturday and Sunday were not to good. My hip pretty much said, "no not today" and started aching like crazy and it walking killed so we pretty much stayed inside. I'm supposed to see a speacilist sometime soon so I'll keep you up to date on that subject!
