Dear Family & Friends,
Well this week was pretty crazy. Yesterday was Emilleans confirmation
and after a crazy morning we figured out a way to get her to church. At first
she wasn't going to come because her kids were mad at her for joining the
church. We called her and prayed with her on the phone and she said
"I have to come." We then got a call an hour later saying she was at
the train station but lost her pass. We then scrambled to find someone to pick
her up. One of the senior couple missionaries in the ward drove us to get her.
We made it back right before sacrament meeting!
We have also been teaching this guy named Luke. He is an R&B
artist. He is a super cool guy and has a true love for God. We taught him the
story of the restoration and he was so happy. He said it only made sense
that if there is one God, there should be only one church! He told us he
was going to pray and ask God if the message was true. Can't wait till we have
another rendez-vous with him.
We had what you could call a miracle this week. Elder Webber and I
chose to go to a certain stop on the train and when we got there we had no
success. We had only a few hours left so it wasn't really worth switching
cities. Although we felt like we needed to go to Trappes. We got on the train
and headed to Trappes not knowing what we were going to do. When we got there
and walked out, this guy stopped us. He told us he was from Africa and had been
in France for 6 months and had no idea where the nearest church was. He was so
happy to see us and now we are teaching his friends! Perfect example of
the Lord putting people in our paths!
This week has been awesome!
Love you all!
