Week #15 - August 26, 2013

This week was pretty good. We had a zone conference with President and Sister Poznanski. Sister Poznanski shared a story about how one baptism (that of her parents) has changed  so much and has lead to alot of blessings in her life. It was a super spiritual story. She said it all in French and I understood it all! My understanding when it comes to gospel related stuff is pretty much solid. Now I just actually have to work on speaking. Everyone says the understanding comes first so I'm feeling pretty good. There was a qoute in this months Liahona that I really like.
"So be kind regarding human frailty – your own as well as that of those who serve with you in a Church led by volunteer, mortal men and women. Except in the case of His only perfect Begotten Son, imperfect people are all God has ever had to work with. That must be terribly frustrating to Him, but He deals with it. So should we…So be patient and kind and forgiving.” E. Holland
Really stood out to me because now when someone does something that could be annoying I try to let it not bother me. Like Elder Holland said God deals with it and so should we.
On Thursday we spent the whole day contacting in Versailles. We noticed this guy with sunglasses on a bike following us. We noticed he was going up to all the people we contacted and taking our card from them???? We thought we should go talk to him and see what his issue was but once he saw us walking towards him he ran away...  some people ...hahah
We were spoiled this week and got fed by members twice! One was from Africa so she made us up a good African beef thing. The other one was a French family and we had some super good chicken and some forced fed duck liver!  Not gonna lie, it wasn't that bad at all.
Oh and we have an investigator whose name is Audré and she loves us!! Every time we have a rendez-vous she makes us cake!!!
I know it's the Lord blessing us because we have a broken oven!! ha
Love you all!
